Job Description
SPECIALTY CARE: OUTPATIENT STAFF RN-AMBULATORY INFUSION CLINIC. The Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) nurse is a highly skilled direct care provider whose scope of practice includes providing comprehensive nursing care for patients at the Ambulatory Care Infusion Center who are receiving complex chemotherapy, blood products, other therapies such as anti-infective, antiemetic, hydration therapy. The Infusion nurse oversees the scheduling and the necessary preparation for each patient's treatment.
