Job Description
The Nurse on Duty (NOD) functions to deliver and coordinate safe, efficient, and effective patient care throughout all areas of the facility. The NOD is responsible for the oversight of Nursing Service during the off tours, weekends, and holidays. Provides care and directs others in the promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process.
