Job Description
The Registered Nurse (Nursing Officer of the Day) functions to deliver and coordinate safe, efficient, and effective patient care throughout all areas of the facility. The NOD assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for managing and directing employees, staffing units, and allocating resources as necessary during weekends, holidays, and after-hours tours during the absence of nursing management/leadership.
