Frequently asked

Is this really free?

Yes, and permanently. Nurses never pay us anything — no subscription, no credit card, no placement fee taken out of your salary. The RN Network earns from employer services like job postings and recruiting, never from nurses.

Will my current employer find out?

Your profile shows your credentials, specialty and preferences. It does not announce that you are looking, and your email and phone are never displayed. You can also switch your profile to hidden at any time and remain in the directory without appearing in employer searches.

What happens when an employer is interested?

A request that comes through your profile here lands with us rather than in your inbox. We review those daily and bring you the ones that fit what you told us you want. Your name and contact details are released only after you say yes.

I think I already have a listing. What is that?

Our directory includes nurses compiled from public licensure records, so a basic listing may already exist under your name. Use "Claim My Listing" to find it and verify with your email and the last four digits of your license number. Claiming puts you in control of what it says.

Do I have to job hunt through you?

No. There is no exclusivity and nothing to sign. Your profile works quietly in the background while you apply wherever you like, through us or entirely on your own. Plenty of nurses get hired somewhere we had nothing to do with, and that is a perfectly good outcome.

Do I have to upload a photo or write a bio?

No. Both are optional. Profiles with a photo and a short bio tend to read better to a hiring manager, which is the only reason we ask.

How do I get my profile removed?

Email info@rnnet.org and we will remove it. You can also hide it yourself from employer searches at any time using the visibility setting.
